NEWSPan plug seal is a high-performance sealing component made of U-shaped PTFE with special springs, which relies on the excellent physical and chemical properties of PTFE to continuously maintain the expected sealing performance. Next, let's learn about the characteristics and applications of universal sealing.
Principle of Pan plug Sealing:
The PTFE plate spring combination U-shaped sealing ring (overflow seal) is formed by applying appropriate spring tension and system fluid pressure to push the sealing lip out and gently press against the sealed metal surface to achieve excellent sealing effect.
Characteristics of Universal Sealing:
1. The sealing performance is not affected by insufficient lubrication during start-up
2. Effectively reduce wear and friction resistance
3. By combining different sealing materials with springs, different sealing forces can be demonstrated to meet various application needs
4. Made with a dedicated CNC machining mechanism, no mold costs - especially suitable for a small number of diverse seals
5. Chemical corrosion resistance and heat resistance are far superior to commonly used sealing rubber, with stable dimensions and no degradation of sealing performance caused by volume swelling or shrinkage
6. Exquisite structure, can be installed in standard O-ring grooves, greatly improving sealing ability and service life
7. The sealing groove can be filled with any anti pollution material (such as silicone) - but not suitable for radiation environments
8. Due to the sealing material being Teflon, it is very clean and does not contaminate the process. The friction coefficient is extremely low, and even in extremely low-speed applications, it is very smooth without any "hysteresis effect"
9. The starting friction resistance is small, even if the shutdown time is long or intermittent operation, it can maintain low starting power performance
10. Pan plug sealing system is a special sealing component developed for high-temperature corrosion, difficult lubrication, and low friction application environments. The combination of different PTFE composite materials, advanced engineering plastics, and corrosion-resistant metal springs can fully meet the increasingly stringent diversity requirements in industry
Typical application examples of universal sealing:
1. Axial seals for rotating joints of loading and unloading arms
2. Sealing components for spray painting valves or other spray painting systems
3. Sealing components for vacuum pumps
4. Beverage, water, beer filling equipment (such as filling valves) and food industry seals
5. Seals for automotive and aerospace industries, such as power steering gear
6. Sealing components for measuring equipment (low friction, long service life)
7. Seals for other process equipment or pressure vessels
