NEWS1、 Mechanical seals for pumps:
The reliability of pumps largely depends on mechanical seals. In petrochemical enterprises, the fluids handled by Shanghai mechanical seals are mostly flammable and explosive. Once the mechanical seals fail and leak, it not only pollutes the environment and affects human health, but also causes major accidents such as fires and explosions. We mainly focus on the selection of sealing structures for mechanical seals used in petroleum refining pumps under different working conditions, in order to reduce the failure rate of mechanical seals in sealing reaction vessels and improve their reliability.
1. Mechanical seals for high-temperature hot oil pumps
High temperature hot oil pumps mainly include mechanical seal standard bottom pumps, bottom pumps, and catalytic slurry pumps. The characteristics of these pumps are high temperature (370 ℃ -400 ℃), high oil viscosity, and impurities at the bottom of the tower.
2. Mechanical seals for gasoline and diesel pumps
The mechanical seal of this type of pump adopts a stop structure (for pumps with temperatures above 200 ℃, a corrugated pipe structure is used). One is to prevent the heat generated by high-speed mixing; The second is to prevent the tension spring from transmitting torque.
4. Mechanical seals for low-temperature light hydrocarbon pumps
Adopting methods such as adding a non compensating ring tail length and selecting a secondary back cover structure to enhance the anti pumping ability of the mechanical seal of the light hydrocarbon pump. Improve the sealing chamber pressure by flushing to prevent seal dry conflicts caused by suction. The self flushing method can not only ensure a high medium pressure inside the sealed chamber, prevent the medium from vaporizing or accumulating gas inside the sealed chamber, but also timely remove the conflict heat generated by the conflict side, effectively control the temperature rise of the sealing end face, increase the liquid phase area, and improve the conflict situation.
2、 Valve:
Valves are essential components of petrochemical refining equipment, with a wide variety and large quantity of valves used. The media used in chemical production are often highly corrosive, toxic, or flammable and explosive. When valves leak, it not only causes severe damage to raw materials, energy, and products, but also has a serious impact on the environment, even leading to serious safety accidents. Therefore, it is necessary and important for us to pay attention to the issue of valve leakage in the petrochemical production process.
